I have been anticipating this game for a long time, and i just got it on sunday. Another great addition to the guitar hero collection. More updates as i get farther in the game.

This game had been talked about for a long time but it has finally been released. I just got the game on sunday. Unfortunately i didn't get the full band edition so i don't know how the drums are. The new guitar is great. The strum bar is extra wide, the whammy bar is longer, there is an easy - to -reach star power button and there is also a new feature called the slider strip. There are certain sections in songs where the notes are translucent, in these sections you just slide your fingers across the strip and you don't have to strum. You can also use the slider strip as a whammy bar and you can also tap it anywhere and it counts as strumming.

Some other new additions to the game are that you can get star power while you have star power, and you can play other notes while holding down a sustain. There is also open strums for the base, which is where there is just a purple line and you strum without holding down any fret buttons. The music studio is alright, but I think they wen't a little overboard with it. They were just a little too ambitious. There is also a bunch of cool playable characters including Sting, Haley Williams, Billy Corgan, Ozzy Ozbourne, JImi Hendrix, Zakk Wylde, Ted Nugent, Travis Barker, and many more. There is also guitar battles against Zakk Wylde and Ted Nugent in that order.

In this game you can also totally customize your character and instrument. I love being able to basically build my own guitar. You can change and customize, the neck, fretboard, head body, strings, and bridge. You can do virtually anything to your guitar to make it all your own.

Another great thing abuot this game is the setlist. It's incredible. There are so many great songs that are long overdue to be on guitar hero. The hardest song in the game is "Satchboogie", by Joe Satriani. There are 84 songs in the game. That's double the amount of songs from Guitar Hero 2&3. This is easily the best music game ever!

9.8 out of 10
