We are now testing a new feature for JrNet called the JrNet Games Launcher. It allows you to play any game without having to download and install it...
This feature is considered stable but we aren't 100% sure yet, so use with caution. If you have any problems please tell us. To use this new feature you must download the JrNet Games Plugin here. This one-time download allows you to play any game that uses this feature, without re-downloading the plugin! After you have installed the plugin you can test it below with Doomed Explorer GOLD. We will be adding more games shortly.
The button will not work if you have not installed the plugin or you answered no to the security dialog(if one appeared) or if you don't have Java installed. If you have installed the plugin, have Java installed, and answered yes to the dialog(if it appeared), and it doesn't work, reinstall the plugin. If the loader box pops up but does not load the game, you firewall may be blocking the JrNet Games Loader.
Update:
Here is another game for you to test. This is a test of the JrNet Games Loader's ability to play non-Technagame games. NOTE: We cannot give support for non-Technagame games.

Great New Feature
I think that this is a great new feature. Have you ever seen before a browser plugin that lets you take any game that would normally have to be downloaded and installed, and play it off of the internet? Well I haven't. Although my liking of this article and plugin may be biased seeing that I developed the plugin and wrote the article  . Anyways this should turn out to be a great new feature for JrNet. (That may be biased as well, since I own JrNet  ) |
